Pick A Username

Nothing fancy here.  Simply pick a username that you will use to login to your web site’s admisitrative “dashboard” and adjust your settings, as well as add your content (posts, pages, etc.).  Just make sure you pick something that is easy to remember.

Give Us A Email Address

We promise this email is not for spam or advertising purposes, and we will not be passing it out to people.  FreeSwingersBlog.com will use this email address to send you your web site and login information after you finish the registration process.

Your website will then use this email address to notify you of important happennings.  Such as when a new user registers for your website, leaves a comment, links to your website, etc.  If you don’t like recieving these email updates, they can easily be turned off in your administrative settings down the road.

Pick A Blog Domain

All you need to do is simply click the link below where you are going to be asked to pick your blog’s domain. A domain is a fancy way of saying web address or “stuff written in the top of my browser.”  For instance, Free Swingers Blog’s domain is http://freeswingersblog.com. Your website is going to be hosted at a subdomain of freeswingersblog.com.

Let’s say you pick the domain name “sexyswingers.” your web address or domain will be:

 http://sexyswingers.freeswingersblog.com (click to see an example blog)

Immediately after you register, a complete website/blog will be built at that web address for you to do with what you would like!

Pick a Blog Title

Now you need to come up with a title for your blog.  This is usually very easy because most of the time people will use the domain name they picked above.

So, our hotties chose “sexyswingers” as their domain and will most likely choose “Sexy Swingers” as their blog title.  This is not required as we want you to be able to customize the blog as you like.  So…

Let’s say we wanted our title to be “Jane and John’s Sexy Swinging Adventures.” Simply type that in the Blog Title blank and you would then have a new blog set up at the domain http://sexyswingers.freeswingersblog.com with the title “Jane and John’s Sexy Swinging Adventures. 

The good news is you can change this later should you change your mind!

Privacy Setting

This is a simple “yes” or “no.” Do you want Google and other search engines to list your website and its contents when people search using their search engines?  The answer to this should almost always be yes.  After all, you are writing it so people will read it!

An easy way to think about this is if you select “yes” anyone can find your blog,or if you select “no” only people you give your address to will find your blog!

One example of when you may want to set this to “no” is if you are using your blog as a swinger profile and will be giving the address to friends you meet online or in the real world.

(Note:  Setting this to “no” does not limit anyone from seeing your website.  It merely means people will not find it by searching Google or other search engines!  The way to keep unauthorized people from viewing your website is to password protect it which is easily done under the options tab in your website administrator ”dashboard”  you will learn about later on in the process).

 So Why Is This Free?

So what is the catch?  I am sure you are wondering why will we pay all of the bandwith for you to host your own website.  Well there are a few reasons:

• There are not near enough quality websites about the Lifestyle.  The internet is full of shady, low quality, porn sites claiming to be about swingers.  The image these sites portray have no similiarities of what we found when we entered the Lifestyle.  We hope this will help contribute more quality references for all those hot couples out there considering entering the Lifestyle.  Which means more hotties to choose from!
• To be honest we give away bandwith every month.  As owners and writers of the original swinger’s blog www.gentlenibbles.com we have outgrown our low cost web hosting plans and been forced to upgrade to a much larger Virtual Private Server hosting alternative.  This has fortunately put us in a situation where we have plenty of resources to spread the wealth without taxing Gentle Nibbles.
• We do borrow one little space on your blog.  FreeSwingersBlog.com has the option to advertise in the small space above your blog.  While one ad on a small new blog is not worth much, we hope that by serving that ad space on all of the blogs collectively we can earn enough money to continue to pay for the hosting of this website as well as www.gentlenibbles.com.
